Thinking of a G19 and a G30. Glad to see someone bringing the compacts.

Anyone out there pick one up? How do they feel with the longer barrels?

Got a G26 few years ago. The gun itself was awesome... But the barrel look retard. It didn't affect the balance or the accuracy much. But at this time I was a terrible shooter.

I have a G19 with a Glock threaded barrel with thread protector on it. IMO it looks more "factory", "standard" than the Lone Wolf, etc. barrels that stick out past the slide.

I really like the balance, feel and size of my G19. Believe it or not, a bit more than my G17!!!

Hope this helps.

Hey 600

I bought a glock 19 two years ago from Questar.

To answer your question, the gun doesnt feel different at all with the slightly longer barrel. Mine came with a Lone Wolf barrel. The gun has preformed well and the only thing I can say is that the finish on the Lone Wolf barrel comes off easy. Doesnt bother me, but you may want to know about that.

Where did you get your G19 with the factory threaded barrel? I've been looking for one as well

You can't buy a GLOCK with a factory threaded barrel (at least not in this country and not now). You can just buy the factory barrel. Questar has brought them in a few times. Others may have as well. I bought one of the first shipment Questar brought. It's alright. Depends what you want. The IGB barrels are what I prefer. They are smaller and they shoot noticably better.

I bought a gen4 G19 with a Lone Wolf threaded barrel. Would have preferred a Glock threaded barrel just to keep it stock, but I've had no problems with the LW. Plenty accurate and the black finish on the barrel is holding up well after a year of hard use and little cleaning.

As far as feel goes, there is no difference in feel. We're talking 10-20mm past the slide. You can't feel or see anything different while shooting it.
The 26 looks pretty strange because of how far the barrel has to stick out, but I'd like to shoot a gen4 and see how it shoots one of these days. They're even more rare than the 19 up here.

I have a Glock 26, 27, 19, 23, 29, 30, and 36. They all came from Questar at some point or another, although I bought a couple of them used. The G19 and G23 don't look too goofy as the barrel only sticks out a few millimeters more than the factory one does. The smaller ones look a little funny, but if you want a compact Glock and don't have the 12.6 status, thats what we have to live with. Other than looking a little funny it doesn't negatively affect them in any way and actually makes them safe to shoot with cast bullets as well, something that is not recommended with the factory Glock barrels. Buy one and enjoy it!

I recently picked up a glock 19 with a stainless Lonewolf Barrel. Fits in my hand better and more balanced then a G17 in my opinion.

+1. The G19 fits smaller hands noticeably better than the G17. I got my G19 from Dlask earlier this year when they brought a batch in with stainless Lone Wolf barrels. No complaints here, the 106mm barrel affects nothing but the looks a bit and shoots fine.

Old thread I know but what's a "IGB" barrel?

you can always buy any compact from IRG and ask them to source a restricted barrel for you. I bought my G30S in Oct that way. They got the lonewolf barrel I wanted for me.

I have a G19 with the threaded barrel and it also came with the high suppressor type sights. Was not a fan of either the threaded barrel or the high sights so changed the sights to low and put on a LW barrel. Looks and shoots great in this configuration although as someone noted previously the finish on the LW barrel seems to come off pretty easy.
