Anyone Recognize These Clowns???

When the video was originally posted everyone was checking the guy who posted its profile on youtube. It said he was from Canada. One of his friends on youtube who looked exactly like the guy who was running the camera,, his profile said he has lived in manitoba and ontario. Guy who looked like the cameraman hadnt had any videos or logged on for over a year.. both accounts have been closed since the beginning of this. But like everything on the internet,, everything is cached somewhere and someone happened to be able to retrieve this cached profile.

and here it is!

That doesn't mean it didn't take place elsewhere (US). It's not uncommon for people to travel there. The Crown will have to prove it occurred here for it to be tried here.

Either way, these guys are idiots.

Be real easy to find out if they were in the U.S., every crossing is recorded now a days. With all the publicity this has been given.. Im sure when these guys are caught, the crown will have a very solid case and these guys will end up making a plea deal.

But without the original recording, it would be impossible to pinpoint when this occurred in which case if they travelled to any other country within the last few years, they can claim it occurred then.

However, these guys are obviously not to clever, so I'm sure they'll be screwed.

The smartest thing these knuckleheads could do would be to turn themselves in to a local conservation detachment. With an apology and admission of guilt they would not even see a court room. A moderate fine would be imposed and likely loss of hunting priveledges for a few years thereafter. Within a short time the whole affair would disappear. Dragging the whole thing out only makes for more public exposure.

I doubt that these guys would be smart enough to smuggle firearms over the US border...

No, I'm ashamed to say it looks like these are home grown locals. The .22 probably belongs to Dad or Uncle Joe. Probably not registered either. No respect for the game the land or the laws. And I'm also ashamed to think that this happens far more frequently than we know. I've heard horror stories of what guys do. Sad really.

I would gladly send some money to increase the amount of reward if someone would set up an official account for that.
I'm sure that the members of this site would very quickly double the $1000 offered by the Humane Society.

I think the dude with the wicked buck teeth will be popular in prison with the Big Bubbaz

:)Truth of the matter is that these $hitheads wont see a jail cell... unless they cannot pay the fines imposed should they plead or be found guilty...where as community work is the norm. Heck, here in Canada bad guys are rarely sent to jail these days:rolleyes: Public humiliation in front of millions of people is the best punishment...and we here on CGN did our part.

ARREST MADE IN DUCK SHOOTING POSTED ON INTERNET

adxGetMedia.aspx
Earlier today, Ministry of Environment Conservation Officers and Environment Canada Wildlife Enforcement Officers, assisted by the RCMP, arrested three Saskatchewan residents in connection with a video posted on the Internet depicting the indiscriminate shooting of migratory birds. The individuals were taken into custody and warrants were executed to search the individuals' residences for further evidence.
An unprecedented public reaction to the content of the video led to a significant number of calls to the Turn in Poachers (TIP) line in both Saskatchewan and Alberta. Information from these calls led to the three individuals' arrests.
The three individuals will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court at 10 am, Monday, August 10, 2009.
