Hi guys, just wondering if anyone recognizes this brand of outside neck turner? The caliper is a Mitoyu

I got it in a trade and want to order a different caliber pilot.
Thanks

Its a Hart. Works pretty well, The cutter has a large contact area. The mandrels are steel. The best lube I have found is anhydrous lanolin...drug store. Most turners do well with unmodified neck dia. brass. Its when you move them up or down in dia. and turn them, then the neck shoulder junction has a memory and it tends to grab the mandrel causing galling on steel mandrels. You get a galled on brass ring on the mandrel that tears up the finish of the inside of the case neck. Getting it off requires disassembly of the cutter and the lose of the setting. Carbide mandrels minimze this, but still use the lube.

Regarding K+N...The nice thing about K+N is that it has hard steel expander mandrels that are just a little bigger than his carbide turning mandrels.. he worked it out so the brass is a proper fit for turning. His carbide mandrels also have a cutting feature at the end that will cut out the donnut that can form at the neck shoulder junction.
