Anyone reload for .380 revolver?

There's more than one cartridge known as "380 revolver".

One of them is basically the same as 38 S&W and found in enfield top break revolvers used by the Brits in WWII era. These use a bullet diameter of about .359/.360".

There is a much older cartridge from approximately 1870s that was also known as 380 revolver. I've seen a few belgian made revolvers chambered for this cartridge. The bullet diameter is approximately .375" according to Cartridges of The World.

I have had success loading mine with .38 special brass and 150-158gr hollow base .357 wadcutters projectiles seated near flush and 2.8-3.0gr max of bullseye. Unique will work as well, but I don't know charge weights safe to use. Highwood casting has .375 heeled projectiles that fit I'm also using in .380 brass. .38 S&W brass works as well but needs to be trimmed to meet the 1.14 max COL in my No 4 Webley in .380 REV (European revolver). I just measured my brass for the heeled bullets and they will need to be trimmed to around 0.75 0.7525. you can do this with either .38 special brass or .38 S&W brass. Hope this helps!
 
In my case for the heeled projectiles I need to crimp that brass to fit the cartridge in the cylinder. if ordering these hollow base wadcutters I'd recommend getting the soft and not pure lead for better penetration. I had lots of lead shavings with pure lead even with the case mouthes expanded/belled. The photos with the red box are .38 special brass and the one with my pistol are the .380 brass.
