Anyone reloading .45 ACP with DRG 225gr FP's?

I'm trying my hand at reloading cast bullets for my .45 and was wondering what OAL people seat these bullets to? Has anyone got a favorite charge using Unique?

i use bullseye powder and try and load them as long as possible for my pistol

4 grains of bullseye

I use 5.5 grains of Unique and I have to seat them rather deep in order for them to chamber in my 1911. I would recommend you make up a dummy round, to get the seating depth just right for your pistol, and then work up a load 5.5 is hot and accurate in my particular pistol.
