Thanks in advance pardners.....

Maybe you'll find someone but I don't know anyone who will sell reloads or use someone elses reloads. Some say it's illegal but it seems to be legal as long as the reloaders name and address are clearly marked on each box. You do have to realize the liability issues of reloading for others without proper licenses or insurance. If your gun blows up or you get injured, your only real recourse is to sue the guy who sold you the ammo. With a commercial reloading outfit like Wolf Bullets in Kingston they have all the permits and proper insurance coverage for retail ammunition reloading; hobbiest reloaders don't.

When I shoot my reloads in my firearms I take the legal liability on myself. If I screw up and damage my own property or hurt myself by accident, it's very different than if a stranger did it.

Wolf Bullets do take bulk/group/club orders directly so you may do better if you contacted them. I don't know what qualifies as "bulk" to them though. 5000rnds? 10,000rnds?

Check SFRC, they sell Wolf ammo.
I am under the impression without the proper licensing you cannot legally sell reloaded ammo.

There was a licensed reloaded in SW SK that was selling 38spl for $200/1000 back in 2012....

Plains ammo supply iirc. (Used to be called "Cactus Plains Ammunition Supply")

That outfit still sells lead projectiles, 38, 9, 40, 45 and .458. I have really good results with their 405gr .459" cast slugs. Great in the 45/70. I swage that same boolit down to .453 and it is spectacular in a S&W 460v pushed by trail boss!

They used to sell all kinds of loaded ammo..... Not sure about the loaded ammo anymore. Been a while since I spoke to Bruce.

Speaking of which..... I should track him down and see if he's going to be at the Swift Current G-show..... I'm running low on a few things....

All the .38 Special Wolf Bullets reloads are sold out at SFRC; that's why I mentioned contacting Wolf Bullets directly since their website does say they take bulk orders directly.

Thanks for all this so far and of course I am looking for legal sources. so yes licenced re-loader but local to avoid shipping costs for a box of lead and brass. Sorry of I wasn't clear. I have subscribed to there restock alert thingy and is close enough to me to make a drive worth while to buy a whack.

Any other suggestions are welcome... short of reload myself. Which I am looking into.

Ryan I am registered for an email alert when you get some in and it would certainly be worth a drive from where I am (near Brighton). If I can afford to get enough to make the gas cost worth while if that makes sense...... I hope to hear from you soon..... I just got my new pistols and am done today with what ammo I had for the weekend.....

Custom Reloading Services out of Maple Ridge BC sells reloaded .38 Special, legally. His name is John and he is on this forum.

He has good prices and shipping is quite reasonable. I don't know what the requirements are for Cowboy Action shooting but if you ordered a sizable amount he could probably make a load to your specifications.

STAC TACTICAL out of Montreal is supposedly going to be selling reloaded 38 special through a CGN Ontario dealer soon. But they have not released the dealers name yet.
