Here is the nice one and one I sold, as you can see one isn't checkered and I figured it was a really good copy but lately I've seen a couple more without checkering and I'm wondering if they did in fact send some out of the factory that weren't checkered. You can see that the sling eyes on both rifles are in the exact same place and the lines of the stock are identical which makes things even more likely that it's a factory stock.
