Anyone Rolling a NEA 10/22 chassis?

Where did you hear that?? It's standard Milspec hardcoat anodize.

I think it is more the colour of your anodizing people complain about. I have yet to see it in real life as I am waiting on a local shop to get some of your AR's in but, it is a different colour then what most other manufatures use. I know it apparently looks different in person but, in the pics it has a very purple hue. None of the other manufactures anodizing that I am aware of look like this. Even in a picture. So, it stands to reason it wont match other parts that well. Have you tried working with your anodizer to see if they can get a colour closer to the other companies like LMT, Stag, Colt, KAC, DPMS exc? I think your products would sell even better if you could.

The anodizing is more of a charcoal grey color?? ...

but that wouldn't stop me from buying one. I'd just spend the extra money to send out my parts to Murdock and get them sand blasted and Armacoated :D

Yeah, but it would be nice if it were just black like all the others in the first place. Plus, Armacoat is no where near the strength of type III hard anodizing. It is a surface finish where as the TIII hardcoat is part of the metal so to speak. I hope NEA will chime in and answer my question. Hopefully they are still working the bugs out and we will see black one day? I am more concerned with their AR's myself as I am running Nordic's SR chassis.

I Had one, I never liked it. Nothing to do with the colour either. It was kind of fugly in person and the screws that came with it were the wrong thread for the factory receivers holes. (In fairness to NEA, I bought it second hand so maybe someone had switched those, but it still buggerd up the holes) It also seem to come loose on me after every, few hundred rounds, so don't forget the loctite. I've tried just about every kit for the 10/22, and it was my least favorite. I sold this instead on the "plastic" archangel kit. I'd personally go with a Nordic or SR-22 long before the NEA. Just my $0.02, take it for what it is. :D

Well with the blowout price of $120 I ordered 1 today for an ignorant looking shorty build, hopefully any issues are workable. I'd like to see pics of other's builds with them though
