that's very cool. I have the Burris Fastfire 3 as well on my Mossberg 930 spx

Nice, I have an identical one from a Winchester 1200 in 20ga that I inherited from my grandma.OK, just for fun, here is my old school shotgun reflex sight. Nydar model 47.
Made from tool steel. Designed in 1947, inspired by fighter plane gunsight technology.

Do you find the additional height of the reflex sight effects your cheek weld?
It's such a small optic. It works beautiful. Nice, bright red dot and also plenty field of view (which is good with shotgun- you can see what you're currently exploding)
looks to be the same size as your vortex, which seems to be a nice optic
Are you sure it was machined, looks like mine came with a couple receiver mounting options. There's a price inside the box that says 10.95 but I don't know if that's for the whole assembly or another mounting option. The serial on the gun it came off of dates it around 67 production and this would have been bought new with the gun or shortly after. I took it off the shotgun as I prefer the bead sight but could mount it up quickly if you want to see it installed.Take a photo for us please!
Mine will be used on a future project...some previous owner has had the base machined to fit a vent rib.
This modification will dictate the direction of the project...maybe a short SxS?
