Silently swivels 360°
Adjustable leg height
Lightweight aluminum, weighs only 2 lbs.
Packs down to 5" diam. x 23" long
Supports up to 250 lbs.

One problem with the SIR one above, dont go into the forest if its a bit muddy, the legs will sink, and you have to stand up and pull them out again. Not fun at 5am when its dark, and your leaning to one side.

Got one for xmas last year, "made in China". Cheap materials, didn't last more than a couple days before the seat ripped. I've seen some nice wood and leather hand made one's but not very practical.

Got one , it has wood legs, and a leather seat. Picked it up in Mexico. Excellent Notion for a ground blind.

I have one of those as well. Had two but the leather ripped on one. Wait till that happens to you, quite painfull actually  :D

The seat you are looking for can be found in the Tandy Leather Factory of Canada cataloge. These are Kits that you assemble yourself and were on sale for 50.00 in the November flyer.

Google Tandy Leather of Canada and have a look.

Merry Xmas

Walmart had them in Timmins. I bought one a couple of years ago and I really like it. I shot one small buck while sitting on it in a ground blind.

Silently swivels 360° is a great feature. However, one must consider what type of surface you will be using this on. Hard and flat surface would ideal. Unever (rocks) or soft surface (sinking in) would not work well.

I've not seen them in Canada, but bought a couple of them last summer at Gander Mountain in the States for about $15. US each. I can tell you that they work fine, the revolving thing is great for turning around silently (why do the deer and moose always seem to come from where you are not facing???) and the legs are individually adjustable so they can be used on uneven ground with a little work.

I bought a similar one a few years ago. I don't recommend one to anybody. I call those seats the "nut-buster". Sit in one with the "horn" of the third leg against your third leg for any length of time and you'll understand. Good luck,

Anything that says "made in China" I stay away from. I will pay extra money anyday to get good quality items here in Canada, or in the US. Let China keep their junk!
