Anyone see Glock 44 out there for sale?

Please explain to me, I'm someone who hasn't been paying attention.

When C-71 was announced it became crystal clear that the long term game was to take everything. Anyone who believes otherwise is either stupid or ignorant. Go back and look at post history of me and others from that time. It started with removing ATTs, and set the ground work for all the bull#### they are doing today. As soon as it was a first reading, everyone on here was warning of the long term plan and loads of people were saying, no this is just some tweaks, it will be ok. We will win when the PPC win the election (LOL) I said bull###X with plenty of arguments against me. Instead of pissing matches, I decided then and there to move as fast as I could. I only had my NR PAL at that time. I immediately went out and got my RPAL. Got it before C-71 passes. At that time 699 got you a good AR15. New Glocks for 700 bucks. Vintage unfired Revolvers for 900. Mark 4 targets for 600. Scorpions for 750. Tavors were on sale for 2K. $250 SKS, 900 dollar garands, hell even FX9s were 899 at one point in the last 3 years. Wks, ATRS modern sporters, Stag 10s all of them available to buy for years. That was the time to buy and anyone who paid attention did.

While doing all this, they passed it and waited to implement it for over a year until the media frenzy was right. Pretty clear that was the plan. During that time many were was still buying. The last election they promised to do more, take more and make it harder. That's when you should have kept buying anything you might want someday. I understand some people being nervous about buying handguns when up until the freeze everyone thought that hand gun bans in cities were coming but anyone with a basic understanding of Law knew that was never going to work. Then they announced they are freezing transfers and 80K handguns are bought in a month as if its a surprise. I got all my #### on sale, all my ammo on sale and have every single handgun I wanted tranfered already. Of course I went and got a few more but if they stopped all the transfers tomorrow I wouldn't really feel it.

For anyone saying I'm tooting my own horn. All this time, I wrote a brief for C-71 that was read in committee. Called and spoke with my MP. Kept graphs for petitions to drum up more signatures on here. Transcribed media announcements for CGN. I personally got 12 people to get there RPALS in the following year, donated to all the lawsuits and did what I could to help. Loads of my threads were pinned in the information areas. Again all this time saying voer and over if you want something buy it now.

I just do not understand anyone saying oh I always wanted this gun but never moved on it and now I might never get it. The time to be cheap and save 50 bucks on a 22 handgun is when blue is in power. When Red is in, if you see something you like and the price is right. Buy it or cry later. The only ones I feel sorry for are ones who turned 18 this year and were not able to move. If you are over 23 years old, the only thing that stopped you from buying anything you wanted was you not paying attention.

just like investing, Be greedy when people are nervous and be nervous when people are greedy.

Who'da thought....a plastic pistol which doesn't squirt water.....rush to get one while you can...Smiling,...

Meh… I’ve owned approximately 100 handguns in my life. I like to try different things. It took me owning 6 or 8 Glocks before I finally “got” it, and I have a Gen 3 G19 that I will never sell now. Maybe I will like the G44, maybe not, but if nothing else I helped pump up the numbers over these last couple of months and made a political statement.

Looking to buy one of these but SFRC price at $728 is a bit much…

Agreed. I like SFRC but I think who ever does the pricing is on the sauce. I bought an M&P9 2.0 last week from them. They had two different listings for the same pistols; one for $889 and one for $919. When asked if there was any difference between the two I was told, "nope, same gun, just two different prices" Like WTF is that. And then, once the $889 ones were all sold out, the $919 ones went up to $939.
Some one's on the glue and chasing it with paint chips.

I feel like SFRC has taken advantage of people with this whole last chance senario. I know alot of people are talking about it at the range. They are shooting themselves in the foot.

Doubt it. People may talk, but Canadian’s as a consumer group are notoriously non-loyal and driven by price alone. As soon as SFRC has something they want at the lowest available price people will go back to them.

I live in Maple Ridge and I would never go to Wanstalls again. I have never seen a store with worse pricing ever. Parking is also ####.

Yeah, I paid the price to get it instead of shopping around and I live in New West so I don't need to ship it.......but yeah, I'm all about the free market etc, but I doubt I'll be buying from them again unless there is a screaming deal.....I tend to goto Reliable and Italian anyways, but they didn't have any Glocks in stock at the time.

Those were two different models of M&P's. One was the 10 round model and the other was the 17 round model. The mags were replaced with Canadian compliant 10 round ones which added to the price thus the price difference. Yes the G44's are expensive, someone bought a few of them, decided not to take them and had us resell them after the transfers were approved. The customer sets the consignment price not us. For our remaining Glocks we are selling them as combo's with other items as they come in.

Feel free to fly in shipments to beat the ban and pay the extra shipping. The last one was $18,000US for 4 skids of guns out of Europe. We don't eat that, it goes into the pricing.
