Anyone see Glock 44 out there for sale?

But you don’t know what they had to pay to rush import guns, premium fast rate shipping etc.

While this is true, its hard to believe that some retailers are able to charge $250 less than others for the same product during this same time frame. Of course we don't know the inner workings for each business, but it certainly seems fishy. At the same time, I do understand how a part of their business is being compromised moving forward, but it still seems like some are taking advantage of this situation.

I get why they are doing it but putting the last glocks available in the country to auction is going to be brutal for those trying to get one.

A few of mine are in there but most are from people that bought new guns and decided to put them on that site.

Glocks came from multiple sources in the end. In some cases I was paying $950 to $1000 wholesale for a standard Glock G17/G22 plus freight.

Do you know if CZ prices followed a similar trend? I see shadows 2s going for $2100, SP-01s for $1600 at some retailers since the 19th. That's quiet a jump

Everything went up the last couple days as it had to be flown in plus some guns never made it thru customs. Those costs have to be factored into the guns that made it. Some guns had to be imported without high cap mags and have 10 round mags put in here…it’s why you see many guns being sold with one mag.

As a business I do have a slight dilemma. I have customers asking to put handguns on consignment at really really high prices. Do I list them for them. I think $2000 for a new in box G19x is way to high but the customer sets the price on them and some people want to pay that…I’m sure you can see my dilemma.

ArmsEast just got in a lot of Glocks but unfortunately not the G44.
I believe the G44 only has a 4.02 inch barrel length so likely it needs to be a special Canadian edition with a nose.

Thanks for taking the time to fill us in.

I am always disappointed to see the number of negative comments regarding retailer pricing (or number of magazines, etc.) here. It is just fueled by ignorance, but the internet echo chamber effect does its thing and the results are pretty ugly. Those are probably customers whose business you won't miss anyway.

Except for the usual bottom feeders, in general I think Canadian firearm retailers have been doing an excellent job considering the situation.

Oh boy, the consignment question is a tough one. From the outside, consignment services seemed like a marginal business to be in at the best of times. Even more issues now. But that is the future of restricted firearms trade in Canada (could be weeks, months, or years). It will be interesting to see if our top tier retailers like SFRC can find a way make it work.
