Anyone seeing any brass in stores yet??

Anyone seeing any reloading brass other than .264 win mag, or 220 swift? It seems like years since I walked into a store and saw a bag of .308 win, .223 rem, and say 7mm-08 all on the same shelf. The shortage is getting really old!

not yet but I noticed when new projectiles come in they are more expensive.

As far as 223rem and 308win are concerned, I haven't had any issues locating Lapua brass.

It's funny about .223 brass. I can go to the shooting range and just pick up 50 to 100 on any given day.

I see norinco 223 brass on the ground at the range as well. What I was asking is if there if anyone is starting to see regular stocking levels...you know, a bag of 300 win mag and a bag of 22-250 at the same place? Like it was before the reloading hell we live with now.

I use Lapua brass for what I can and am happy it's still somewhat available.

For those out on the East Coast, Green Diamond Outfitters stocks plenty of calibers of Federal & Winchester brass.

Nope, it's bad. Check out all the big online dealers south of the border. Everything is "backorder". With the exception of the more expensive brass, it's always available.

Maybe it will improve this year.

I've usually been able to find what I need at WSS Edmonton, Bashaw Sports, and P&D.

I'm familiar with powder shortages. I'm familiar with primer and bullet shortages. But I have never noticed a brass shortage. If I want brass, I walk into P&D or Wholesale Sports. On the rare occasion that doesn't work, I email Jerry at Mystic Precision. I think I had to do that once.

Must just be my imagination. Here's a challenge for you, find 7wsm brass, or more common. 7-08. What brass are you shooting if you haven't even noticed a shortage?

I've already got those, so I wouldn't need to look for it. You wouldn't notice the shortage if you already have what you need and mostly I do. But I have bought 45 colt, 458 winmag, 7stw, and 45 schofield in the last year. It took a couple months to get the schofield brass but the rest came off the shelf.

Had a quick look and don't see them online. If you're in there regularly and it's not to much trouble, can you look to see if they have 7wsm. I would pay to ship a few bags coast to coast.

Call Bashaw Sports, they had 7wsm not too long ago.
