I've heard reports of deer in Montana about 50 miles from the border but that's the closest I've heard so far.

I've heard reports of deer in Montana about 50 miles from the border but that's the closest I've heard so far.

Last year they found CWD in a deer farm in Quebec very close to the Ontario border. In response they did a CWD recovery study in the WMU, everything they checked was negative. This year they upped the tags for the WMU, are running the study again, and have expanded it over to the neighbouring WMU. That's not me saying that there's a conspiracy, but those aren't the actions of a group that think CWD is unlikely to be in the province.
