Anyone seen the doctor?

We saw 7 cow moose, 9 does and 3 bears and a bunch of sandhill cranes... Which oddly enough look like a teridactyl LOL
2 days after we headed for home our friends we left behind in hunting camp shot 2 bulls.... Go figure.
2ftx8 " gash in the camper, jeep fried the electrical and all said and done.... No big game for me... Yet. ;) and no more hunting till after all your goodies ship :D
 
Hey tom. you say no big game yet....as in ever? too bad you didnt live closer, Id invite you out on a hunt. Hope I can get somthing this year. Seams like the moose and deer know the game. In moose season we see more deer then moose. vise versa come deer season. damn critters. Cant wait for my stock, I feel like a kid a week befor xmass. Let me know when you need the mailing info. unless I gave it to ya already....
 
Have several BnC deer, 162" Mulie and two record book blacktails, and have lost track of the number of deer I've gunned. A few moose and black bear but zip so far this year. Mind you I have only really hunted 4 days this season so far.
Hunting has been good to me over the years. Oct/Nov is when i kick things into high gear ;)

Most folks stocks and rifles will be arriving over the next few weeks or days in some cases, with the exception of work booked in sept that will go out in a few weeks. I have slowed new bookings to a trickle.

Was that all that hard? You might be able to do a write up on that bolt roller coming off issue ;)

I gather it doesn't happen all the time
 
Rarely, but yours was not the only roller I've had to install recently but the others went on new g.i. Bolts.
The tool is not very common and in most cases are custom made

I've got a book from my mentor stateside with all his drawings and notes for custom making the tools, gauges and fixtures for the m14.
This includes the roller pliers and the bolt jig with roller ram. I am not aware of any commercial production or sales of the bolt fixture but if one digs around a little, the pliers can be found

Haven't heard directly from you since I shipped it.

But I have my new USP 9mm to play with now, so I don't miss the norc too too much yet :p
