Anyone seen the double-stack version of the NP20 in Canada?

Yes, I know the Norinco NP20 (non-trigger guard cocker version of the N77B) is an inexpensive and low-end pistol, but, the delayed gas blowback design is like a poor-man's P210 and might be worth trying out. What turns me off is the 9 round mag capacity. Norinco made a 15 round double-stack version called, I think, the NP21. This would be the way to go, limited to 10 rounds of course.

Anyone know if it was ever offered (or is still offered?) in Canada?

Never been offered in Canada. Not sure the extra bulk in the grip would be worth the 1 extra round... If we did not have the stupid mag laws then it would be a neat piece.

Took mine (M77B) for a rip in an IPSC match, the only complaint I had was the small safety was slow to disengage. Other than that it worked very well and is quite accurate for a cheap pistol. Never had a problem with capacity when using a 1911 with 7 and 8 round mags in 45ACP for action sports but then again I only competed for fun. Never cared about standings.
