Nope, not approved for sale. You might find an old box or 2 that were brought in before NRCAN decided all ammo needed their "blessing".

WTF why wouldn't it be approved for sale. Its just heavier 22lr ammo that is a little quieter than reg stuff. Other subsonic ammo is forsale everywhere.

Because SOMEONE has to submit all the paperwork, including chemical composition of all powder and primer compounds, production and quality control records, etc, and then PAY NRCAN for their testing and approval. (a couple thousand $$$)

You know very well that NAFTA and Free Trade have nothing to do with this. Smack yourself on the knuckles with a ruler!

This is a wholly internal decision by our very own bunch of miniature empire building bureaucrats at NRC, making sure that they have both job security, and some means to exert a little influence in the world.

I wouldn't hold your breathe waiting for someone to legally import any, the cost is high and there are tooooo many hoops to jump through to get it approved for import.
