I have both a forged Spikes lower and an Aero Precision lower. I prefer the Aero for fit and finish. With my Spikes, and yes it could just be an anomaly, I found I had difficulty fitting a non-Spikes LPK. Not so with the Aero.

I have no experience with Spike's billet version.

I have the Spikes Biohazard billet set w/colour fill...WOW!! Simply gorgeous! I used it for my custom build last year and couldn't be happier. I'm now working on another Spikes build using this lower: https://shopquestar.com/shopping65/shopexd.asp?id=1798&bc=no . It's to be my wifes DMR AR. She's a better shot than I am at distance (which sucks and I never hear the end of).
