thanks dan, i tried some privi 150 ammo through her a while back while looking for a cheap but accurate factory load and she didnt group as tight as the federal 180s, i may try a box of sierra 150's just for the hell of it but i think this gun prefers a heavier bullet. could be something to do with the twist rate of the stock 700 barrel and the bullet weight wouldnt it? regardless im happy to have found these things for a decent price and if they work well ill get lots more. i like the fact that they have a solid tip and not a plastic tip like the hornady's do. looking forward to trying these out ill report back with my findings.
also i found that the 165's shot tightest at the highest powder loads but some of them were hard to eject from the gun even though they were within specifications in the book, i wont load them that hot anymore, i will however try some 190gr sierras next.
