The irony was not lost on me, either!!
It was go wiht the VariXIII 1.5-5 or the Vari X III 2.5-8- the only scopes I had kicking around wiht no home at the time...I will probably replace it wiht a scope that has a bit smaller eye piece, as the bolt handle *almost* whacks it.
