Anyone shoot the .17 Remington?

Was lucky today and found 200 new remington brass for cheap! On the shelf for years by the look of them.

Never even occurred to me that normal powder funnels won't work. Time to get creative....
 
I coulda bought one 10 years ago .
Had a 10X Leupold scope on it and the guy got tired of the bugholes it produced.
Had a target with a tattered hole one could cover with a loonie...20 shots .
Said it would do this all day long, except on the real windy days .
Remington 700 ....$700 and I missed out.
Might not be impressive for some, but it impressed me.

I've tried A2230, W748, IMR4064, IMR4320, RL-15, BLC2, H380, H4350, and Varget. The best have been Varget. This is out of a Rem 700 BDL. Have close to 1000 rounds out of it now. Have used Hornady 25 gr. HP, and 20 and 25 gr. V-Max. The V-Max's will hold there accuracy to 250 yards, but the 25 HP's are the winner at longer distances. Most accurate loads are 24.3 and 24.9 grs. of Varget with Rem case, Rem 7 1/2 BR primer and 25 gr. Hornady HP. Easily does under 1 MOA at 500 yards for 5 shots in near calm conditions. Most times the vertical dispersion of the groups are under .5 MOA. Velocity for 24.3 gr. and 24.9 gr. loads are 3860 fps and 3950 fps, at -10*C.
