Anyone shot an HK45?

they are based on the usp platform..which is awsome...and made them even better...i have a usp45...its amazing...accurate as heck...hate the civvie 12 lb double action trigger but the single action is amazing...heart the hk45 has all that solved, including grip options etc

are they really that smooth to shoot? id assume factory 45 ACP and the light polymer frame will cause it to bounce in the hands...

If anything, polymer 45's are easier and softer to shoot than steel framed ones - recoil is transmitted to the largest mass available (the slide) then the frame, the frame obliges by compressing slightly, the 2 things together help soften out the recoil. Most polymer 45's are absolute pussycats to shoot, the recoil on my M&P45 felt much lighter than the recoil of a Glock 22 - even with full house 230 hollowpoints.
