Anyone special ordered from Bass Pro?

I'm interested in buying a gun that BP doesn't stock and they claim that they can special order one in for me. Does anyone have any experience or advice? The past couple of times I've called there and asked nobody seemed all too interested in helping me… seemed I was more of an interruption to their day. However I have gift cards that pay for over half the amount of the gun so the idea of buying from here seems attractive to me.

BP isn't known for their customer service at their gun counter. Personally I'd customer order from a smaller shop I go to more often, as feel more comfortable if I need service later. Some shops aren't as quick to service if you didn't buy from them. Spend the gift certificates on other supplies, clothing or gear and order your firearm through your regular gun shop where you'd plan to go for service if there is an issue. Happy shopping.
