Just wondering if they are still out due to the unseasonally warm Alberta weather?

I got a few while spotting geese last sat. most are down but the one that are up are quite large

Shot 3 today while out fixing fence. They are few and far between now though...

We went out on Sunday and shot about 350 in 4 hours in Southwestern Manitoba. There were still lots out.

Didn't see any little ones this year at all ? All adults.Read that during a drought they either don't have litters or cannibalize the lot.Seen lots of cannibalism in early spring......................Harold

shot 2 well out grouse hunting the other day as well. they just happend to pop up right at our feet.

Haven't seen any working in the High River area in about 2 weeks now. Oh well, spring will be here in 7 months.

Shot 3 yesterday, they are BIG!! and easy to see which was handy as they were out a few hundred yards.

Hammered one with my .17 yesterday, and he was really big (the only reason i noticed him). First one i've seen in about a week and a half.
