Thank you too.
There is a lot of ballistic info available on 7.62x39 ammo that is available in the US but not much info on what we can get here.
Ballistically even fmj all perform differently. That's why I purchase and will slowly stockpile Czech and Chinese 7.62x39 fmj when possible, it yaws much sooner than most fmj.
To some this doesn't matter, some care a little, I care a lot. Anyone that is even remotely considering preparedness or survivalism should care how their ammo performs and should stock up on the best they can afford.
I care, if others care great, if you don't care that's fine. However if all you care to do is detract from this topic please go somewhere else.
Thanks
If you are concerned about preparing for the apocalypse and want the best perhaps you should get a .223 or .308. Surplus ammo is surplus ammo it is not made for performance it is made cheaply for the military.
This ammo is good because it is cheap and theres lots of it but if you want any kind of accuracy then its not what you want, the cz858 and the sks, which is what pretty much everyone here shoots this stuff out of are not the most accurate of rifles, especially with this cheap surplus ammo! You have to understand why people would be a little confused as to why you want to go so in depth about this round. You DO NOT BUY THIS AMMO FOR ITS QUALITY! Hopefully I will save you time and money from testing this stuff by telling you what everyone already knows. The ammo is highly inconsistent. You can hit a 12" pie plate all day at 100 yards but the bullets will never it close to the same spot twice.
