Anyone tried a 'Rebel Navy' .44 Carbine?

[Robert22]

Howdy,

Just wondering if anyone here has tried or owns the 1851 "Rebel Navy" Carbine by Pietta? It's really difficult to find any information about how it handles, or pictures/videos of it in use etc on the internet. So please enlighten me if you have one! Thanks!

Samuel Colt was commissioned as a Colonel with the 1'st Regiment Colts Revolving Rifles Connecticut on May 1861... the unit never took to the field and he was discharged June 20 1861.
The unit was equipped with Colt Model 1855 revolving rifles.
Don't know if this helps?

Thank you, that's very cool information, I did not know. However, I am looking for personal experience today with this modern replica. How it handles, or pictures of it in use, etc.
