My pet load for my Ruger M77 Mark II is 67.5gr of IMR 4350 to push a 180 Nosler Accubond. It is very precise but lack speed a little.

Have someone here got good results with H1000 for 300WM in 24 inches barrel ?

Thanks

H 1000 works fine, but I have got better results with Reloder 22, or H4831 in the 300 with 180's.
The H1000 comes to it's own with 200 grain bullets and up.

H1000 is my go-to powder for the .300 Win, currently I have 4 on the go. I've used it with 180, 190 and 200 grain bullets with excellent long range results. My "house load" that I use interchangeably between all of them is 80 grains of H1000, 180 Accubond or Ballistictip, Federal 215M and Norma brass. Thats about a grain under max in most books but its plenty warm. Velocity is right at 3050 with the 24" barrels and 3150 with the 26". Drop back 1 grain for the 190s and 2 grains for the 200s.

A couple of trivia items;
1) You will notice a distinct difference in recoil over your 4350 load.
2) H1000 got its name by being the 1000 yard powder for the .300.

I worked up a load for a 300WM

basic hunting load.

found that above 81gr, the groups opened up, so went back to around (Can't quite remember exactly but 81gr sounds close) and called it good.

H1000, 180gr NosPart, 22" dry spaghetti noodle with a hole in it.

Works very well as a hunting load. consistant 1MOA @ 100yds.
