Anyone tried laser rangefinding scopes?

Fellas,

I'm in need of both a new scope and a reliable rangefinder and I started checking out those fancy laser rangefinding scopes that are a two-in-one. Does anyone have any experience with them? The cost is high, but if they actually work as advertised, probably worth it. How is the quality of the optics; how accurate is the rangefinder at longer ranges (400-600 yards) in real life conditions? Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Sort of what I was thinking in terms of being better off (at this point in the technology) with separate scope and rangefinder.
