Wondering if anyone has tried Noslers "Match Grade" 155gr HPBT .308 in an 1 - 11 twist M14 (Mines a SA M1A NM 1-11 Barrel). I know its probably not as ideal as 168 SMK, but price point is a little better, and a little easier on the op rod. Any thoughts?

It shoots fantastic out of my 1/10 twist medium 18.5
Also shoots well from my DMR medium 22"
Both barrels are krieger

155's are required in Palma matches. Those are shot at 800 to 1,000. Mind you, it's bolt actions with iron sights only. Most 150's and 155's are good out to 300ish. 168's out to 600ish and 175's past there, but give the Nosler's a try.

168's are the recommended pill for the competition M14's. There is no reason why 155's wont work really well as the service round was ( I think ) 147 grain.

I have a very accurate rolled one for my NM M1A ( 1 in 11 ) 155 gr Lapua Scenar, BL-C2 and BR-2, this load push 2745 FPS ( mild) but is MOA or better on a constant base... JP.
