I polished the crap outta one of my 10/22's guts. The trigger still sucks.

So I am going to get a competition kit.

Has anyone tried one of these? It is on the Hawktecharms site.

Feed back is much appreciated.

makes a big difference. went w/PC adjustable and used the shims. felt like 8 lbs before, now more like 2lbs,and just the right creep. recommend it.

Mine works very well, and yes Hawktech will ship right to your door they did for me.

I even polished the PC parts and faactory parts that I still had to use and my trigger is at 1lb 7oz. They don't recommend polishing their parts though....:redface:oops!

It is also a very easy install if you are mechanicly inclined and have alot of patience:D You won't regret it once you've used it though, good luck!!!

I had issues with the thought of using titanium parts. Especially in a plastic trigger mech.

But they seem to work just fine and not cause excessive wear.

I have one of their extended cocking handles too. Its a bit sharp. I would rather use some of the other ones that are out there.

But its the most AKish looking one I could find for my krinker.

I ordered twice from Hawktech so far, no issues and great comms. They will actually write a friendly value on the customs stuff, which is always a plus... and they have free shipping to Canada. The price/shipping will often times beat the pricing of some (most) of the local dealers.

I ordered a competition hammer too, but added the 5$ extra to get the VLC stainless steel one. I figure that if you're gonna spend, you might as well get the top of the line. It was shipped out within hours of ordering on Monday, I can't wait to try it out!

:)
