Anyone try these mags?

Steyr Aug has had transparent magazines for 40 years, many people still have the original mags for those. There are actually quite a few proven transparent mags out there for a variety of firearms, but we will be posting some basic use and torture test videos so people can see how this material performs in this application.

Could you please make 10 round full body profiled mags?

No need for coupling. Buy some 10/30 pistol mags would be hotcakes for me...

Ideally with the USGI grooves at least half way down for my FS2000.

*edit*
Wow, should've read the previous post, before asking.

Interested in 30 round lengths, 10 round capacity like daver. If you ever make them in the future. Do not think there are Canadian legal 10 rounders in full length on the market atm.

Nope, None available, and like I said I want them bad, especially if they have the USGI grooves for my FS. (Damn dust gasket that I don't want to remove)

I would be down for 5-10 depending on price (Read $25-$30 a piece)....

and I know guys don't like coupled mags due to the risk of dirt and debris when you are prone....

As well as having to change drills since military and LE don't "flip" their mags.

Not anytime soon. It's not possible to make polymer mags with the usgi grooves, they would have to be stamped mags.

A proper set of injection molds for 30 round bodies and the corresponding components is over 100k. It's not a quick and easy thing to do.

The only thing I can offer for the time being is just running the bottom mag empty to mimic a mag extension. These mags lockup tight and really do feel like one mag when coupled.

Would it be possible to make them single stack with the grooves? pretty please?

Doing up a cheaper Bottom part would likely be ok, but A full body 10/30 would be awesome.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Dave

Single stack with grooves would be possible, the spring would be a bit of an issue though. Cost to produce molds would be prohibitive. In regards to making a cheaper bottom/mag extension, unfortunately due to the design of the coupler it would need to be made from multiple pcs, much like the magazine already is, so it wouldn't end up being less expensive than buying a second mag.

7.62x39 mags are something that we are looking into, but there is no official timeline for these at this time.

We have only tested compatibility with the various AR15 Pistols available in Canada.

As these mags meet the have been vetted and developed to confirm with the regulations for AR15 pistols, and are designed for pistols only, our company cannot comment on the fit with other platforms.

Nicely played. 9mmGunGuy, looks like you'll have to wait for your answer.

I'm definitely interested in the 10rd double mag, coupler combo at $59.95. Glad to see you will have Opaque - Matte Black, not into transparent mags because I don't really need to view my ammo and transparent mags and such tend to resemble airsoft or paintball accessories imo.
