anyone try "Yugo M48 BO Mauser unisued"

They are 8x57. Yugo made mausers like the M48 are decent quality rifles. They are a little roughly finished compared to a nice K98, and the stocks can be very bland looking (elm stocked versions are sweet).
If you are looking at the Marstar mausers, I personally don't think they are worth $500+ with tax and shipping. I'd much rather get a Russian worked K98 for $300-$350.....much better deal IMHO.

I'm with Hitzy on this one. I've owned several M48 mausers and I do not appreciate them as much as standard length military mausers. However if you want to be guaranteed your buying a mauser with a new'ish bore then it largely takes away the "Caveat Emptor" problems with buying milsurp rifles unseen/online.
They're good rifles though. You'll especially like these rifles if you're fond of carbine length rifles. They're just a little shorter over-all.
