These are $64.99 and $109.99 at Brownell's, was wondering if anyone has one and likes it... stock appears to be well reviewed, for the money.

The 109 one is the same one as the LMT SOPMOD stock that lots of people have. I have 2 and it's my favourite stock in the world. I've run a few others, colt, Magpul, vltor etc...sold them all. It just works for me, the size, weight...firm lock up to my mil spec tubes...ymmv

My only complaint is that you have to pop the stock off to get at the storage compartments. But other than that it's a minor one.

Is the "Bravo" SOPMOD ($64.95 - without storage) any different in dimensions than the $109 unit with the storage? Interested in the cheaper one as I don't care about storing anything in my stock. The "Bravo" is reviewed in the 2nd video posted. I'm assuming the more expensive model is also larger, with the added storage capacity.

Im hoping OST gets more in. Id like the Bravo model.

You can get it from IrunGuns... specify that you don't want a damaged one.

I have the Bravo and it is light years better than a MOE, great cheekweld, feels better and doesn't wobble as much.

I have two of the B5 Sopmod Bravo models. They are identical to the two LMT gen2 Sopmod stocks I have. It's an A frame stock.

I like the CTR though for lighter quicker carbines. The Sopmod A frame design gives a better cheek weld. Pretty much a perfect stock for Recon/Reece style rifles. Lighter more CQB style stick with the CTR. For longer range precision the PRS or A2 stock.

The B5 is great. Previously the same stock could only be bought as the LMT and was around $240. I have pictures of two ADCOR/HERA builds with the B5 stock. Sorry on an iPhone but do a search and you can see a few past threads on this.

I'm interested in the cheaper Bravo model. I'm certain if you brought them in at a competitive price, they'd sell.

Irunguns has them for $52 IIRC.

Just make it clear in the order comments to not ship it in saran-wrapp. Ask me why.

They don't still ship in black plastic (garbage bags), do they? I know Brownell's ships in nice sturdy boxes ;)

Well that's how I got my Bravo, and it was all scratched/dinged up.

The whole situation is pretty stinky actually... don't know why I'm suggesting you to buy fron IRG actually...

The original Crane stock/LMT SOPMOD remains my absolute favorite AR stock. I haven't handled any of the new "SOPMOD" stocks. I would hope they've maintained the same quality post-LMT, but those drastically reduced prices give me pause.

Just ordered the ^ B5 SOPMOD Bravo AR15 stock from Brownells. I'll have the Magpul CTR, STR and Bravo Sopmod and see which one I like the best... Hoping the Bravo is as good as the reviews.

I didn't like it on .308 caliber rifles.
When doing load testing from the bench, and when shooting prone off a bipod, I have my non-dominant hand positioned underneath the toe of the stock (on top of my rear sandbag), or between the stock toe and ground. Upon recoil, the rear of the stock latch would dig/bite my hand. Very distracting when focusing on making small groups.
It's not a factor on 223 rifles however.

I had tried to order one back a couple months ago and it was a no go, would not ship that product out of USA let me know if they ship yours.
