Anyone use DLC to coat parts?

As the title states anyone used it? Any down sides?? Was thinking about using it in a project. Stronger and has a less coefficient of friction than TiN, and looks pretty slick in my opinion

All depends on how thick it is and how the surface is prepared.
also if the process effects the temper of the metal
