I had one.. i liked it, very confortable and the adjustable cheek piece was awesome when the rifle was scoped..

it comes with a bottom rail, but no you cant fit side rails on it.. you can fit a top rail in either the UTG or the Ultimak .. but with the UTG i had to remove the side rails as the stock is too wide for them to fit on.

shes a heavy sucker though @ 4.2lb .. as a comparioson most USGI stocks are approx 2.5lb

No side rails? wtf am I supposed to hold the flashlight in my teeth or something? It's not like I have a tactical dentist I can just radio on a whim

Fenix - did you notice improved accuracy? I'm finding mixed reviews on this stock...some say yes, some say no...

Hey Ian, as you know and saw I am a fan of the Archangel stock. The adjustablity of the LOP and cheek riser are fantastic and it just has a nice feel to it. Fit and finish are great with just a little filing and sanding to fit the Norc chassis. I myself did notice an improvement in accuracy, now I dont know if it was directly related to the stock itself being more rigid or if the stock just fit me that much better that I myself was able to be more accurate. Either way Its a winner for me. Weight is substantial but IMO this particular stock better suites a bench rest style of shooting so it really didnt effect my choice.

ps, how did that CASM mount work out for you?

Hey Colin! Haven't had a chance to mount the CASM yet, been a busy weekend. I'm having a hard time deciding between the Blackfeather RS and a composite stock like the Archangel or JAE (which is out of my budget by a longshot if I can't find one on the EE)...The Blackfeather comes with a few extra toys too, so it's a tough decision

You beat me to the drop. I was going to say at the moment any increase in accuracy may be attributable to the enhanced ergonomics. I mean this stock can be made to fit anybody. Im a large knuckle dragger and found the original stock a bit tiny, workable for sure, but not close to what I need.
Im still waiting for the new scope in the post so until then Im just very happy with the fit and feel of the Archangel..It is SOLID.

the blackfeather is a definate on my list, I havent had the chance to handle one but Im sure just like the CASM anything coming from Frank is going to be top notch.

Oh too many toys and things to buy lol I havent even had any of M305's out in awile Ive been playing with my new Target model MINI 14, Ill have to run some rounds thru them this week. If you have time on Sunday come on out with us and you can try my Norc in the Archangel see what you think.

With all the money your savin Im sure someone could make you a Tactibrace with a couple of rails on it :)

Good on ya for quittin tho.....even tho nobody likes a quitter :)

No, it doesn't. You'll also have to buy a pistol grip for it, as well as an upper handguard, whereas the Archangel is complete from soup to nuts (other than a little tweaking for fitment)
