Anyone use the folder on their VZ-858?

LOL!! .. that is a good pic, love it! Anyway, I have had the original stock for awhile. Just doesn't work for me ergonomically. Not really into keeping the "lines and styling" of a gun that I like to shoot and throw around ... a safe queen, sure. It's what you can hit with it, not how good it looks. But hey, that's just me. You should have put that pic up a few posts ago when I saw an 858 with a piece of PVC and a few marshmallows glued to the end for a stock!! As for a good face bashing, my boot works great for me.

:D

To each their own i guess.........

Whatever tickles your pickle. I dont care what yo put on it...JUST NOT AN AR STOCK FOR GODS SAKE! ITs like ordering russian camouflage, and sewing on an american flag. ITs not right man! NOT RIGHT!

Oh and that bottle of rum is a fantastic stick grenade. I dont care if stick grenades are obsolete, they are just plain awesome.

But then again i think jackboots are awesome and long leather trenchcoats too...so what do i know.

Chuck .. i will post a pic of it here when i am done. You can print if off and throw darts at it!! I don't consider the AR-15 as American .. for some reason, i just don't think about America at all!! You are right though ... those stick grenades are cool. I promise not to put an AR stock on my MP-40!!

:D

This is my overstock. Easy to install and remove and has cheekweld suited to me.

Im thinking of mounting a stock like this one, If I can find one. My son has one on his rifle but I think he would flip out if it mysteriously vanished hehehehehe

Nice overstock Deck .. I like that alot. A solid idea. How did you attach the wood to the stock?

I used a plank and cut channel with a table saw. Then bandsawed the outside shape. Sanding tube, then dremel to get an individual cheekweld. Attached with two small cotter pins. Comes off quick and no mods to original. I painted it to look with the original wood/resin finish.

That one is connected to the rear trunion I believe. To remove it is to ruin rifle.

Yes it is, Im thinking one can be possibly fabricated, a fixed skeleton stock (in the same fashion as the one above or similiar but 2 inches longer. Ive got quite a bit of aluminum bar stock I may get a friend to machine the parts then get it tig welded together.

I am NO carpenter ... a real knob with any kind of tool actually. Even though i am doing the M4 stock, I can put it back to original at any time. If I DID have skills Deck .. I would follow your lead. Again ... nice job.
