Living on an acerage in the bc mountains which borders crown land makes for some fantastic hunting close to home but also brings lots of critter both big and small around my property, small kids and dogs on a regular basis. I have quite a few fire arms but can never decide on the best "ranch rifle" for my situation. I was always looking for a rifle that could dispatch a black bear if it had to but also allowed quick follow up shots for wolves and coyotes. Iron sights and able to mount a light somewhere. The SKS seems to fit the bill for my uses except for the mounted light. I saw a pic of the UTG quad rail and it looked pretty good. Anyone have any experience with these or know where I could purchase one?
