Hi, I am in need of some 10/22 mags. I want the longer profile, I already have the 10/10's & want something different.
There are these ProMags, looks like they just 'copied' the Butler Creek design.

Anyone use these specific 10/25 rnd ProMags? Price is right, but Do they suck? or Any luck with them? lol I'm always a little hesitant with Promag.
Thnx for your input.

ProMag is a brand I am not interested in using in the hope their product does not disappoint based on user reports
YA, I'm hit or miss. Some I'm 'forced' to have to buy them. {Marlin} Really, my only 'bad' experience was/is with their SKS mags.
Anyone bought these 10/22 magz & can report how they are...?

I wonder if they're simular to butler creek steel lips?
Couple places sell these, they are $29.99 retail, so cheaper than the Butler Creek. They look like they just cloned the BC ones,{looks like 'steel lips too} they even 'clip' together. Found some BC for not much more, prob stick to a few of those 4 now..but, I'm still curious, if these run well, I'd for sure grab a few or more.

Time for a "Butler Creek 25 round" do's/don'ts post. lol

Today-one of the Ruger BX-15 mags looks to be about the best option for size/grab-a-bility but the +5 round makes 22LR a military-grade assault rifle.. I'm so convinced it's the perfect mag I'm tempted to have IRUN guns bring me in a couple pinned ones. I don't need 15 rounds or care that it would be a 10/15 mag I really don't...but the presence of that rivet for no good reason just ticks me off. lol

K boys, took one for the team! I ordered 2 x BC & 1x ProMag...to try er out! I'll report back when I get around to using it.

Update-I ordered a couple of these pinned BX-15s from Parts Only, they were superb to deal with and the mags came quick. Haven't tested them, but they look great and I'm hoping an improvement over the BX-10s. The BX-10s feel like slippery nylon or something, the BX-15 is a 2pc., more plastic-y feeling mag and light. Hope to test this weekend, thank for the link and for anyone needing anything PO carries, you can expect a good online shopping experience!

^ Hey, Awesome! Ya, the 10rnd, I don't like the flush profile. Thought I read somewhere, 'someone' 3-D printing extended bases for the 10rnd?
& hey PartsOnly -where's me commission?!? lol

I have a bit of an *Update as well, I got the $30 ProMag..I only tried out 15rnds, as I haven't been to the range, just tried it out quick on my property, I can dis-charge here, but I don't much, as per, I do have neighbours etc. still.

All went well with the 15 rnds. One hiccup, was when I went to rack my ADLER 11.7", I feel they fit a bit loose, but so do the Butler Creek.
The 1st round nose dived a bit, but it popped up & in easy enough, & all 10 went fine after that, then 5 more without issues. The BC went off without a hitch as well. They seem be about on par with the Butler Creeks, & not bad for $30.

One other thing to note, the ProMags are internally 'neutered' to 10. {Not riveted} where as the BC have a rivet.

BX-15s do have the rivet. Funny, I mind the rivet 100X more than I mind the 10 rd. capacity. Would be way nicer to change the follower for a Cdn. neutered version and leave that eye sore off...but yeah, appear to be an improvement over the BX-10s. Don't mind flush mags on a hunting gun where it's a shot here/there. Not really how most people run 10/22s

When it comes to neutered magazines, I am on the "frog" side.

Rivet........

Remington 597 work great just need the SBI adaptor
The firearm in question, when I started this thread, is that Adler RF 224. It includes a metal 597 adapter, along with 2x 10/10 - "10/22" mags.
I just keep a Rem 597 30rnd Drum, living premaritally in the adapter. Goes in/out smoothly, without a hitch.
