Anyone use Vortex's warranty service?

There are MUCH BETTER scopes out there - FOR LESS MONEY !
I'd hesitate to buy one with so many GOOD REFERENCES for service. Why so many RETURNS ? ?

I bought a less expensive vortex scope a few years ago. Seemed good but crapped out pretty quick. The store I bought it from returned it for me. I had a new scope in less than 3 weeks. I sold the replacement right away. That being said I’ve bought a few of their better target scopes and have been pretty pleased with them so far.

People have to realize Vortex are cheap scopes with a good warranty.

It's the same with most warranty claims. When I've sent in warranty work for Leupold, Leica, Swarvoski, Ziess, Ruger, etc etc I've usually paid to have the item shipped there.

I was just implying that a guy would burn up the value of the scope eventually with shipping lol

Fantastic is when they don't need to go back for service and Vortex has a bad record. Low end scopes with great service means nothing to me. Let's just call a spade a spade here. People buy them because of the price.

By far the best and fastest warranty service in the optic world I have used their warranty literally on every single vortex product I’ve owned.
i have no complaints besides having to use warranty in the first place but hey it’s a vortex

Like I said in Post 24 - Why do you think they 'over-price them' for what you get. I have a couple Athlons - WITH Warranty - and for LESS $$, for MORE QUALITY !
