Anyone used magazine couplers?

The CAA one you mention is really good and not very expensive. I have used them before, and still do for my 30 rounders. If you are using the 10 round LAR magazines, Questar now has a great coupler that joins two end to end, works great, only like $6.00. Dlask made a similar one out of metal but it sold for like $40.00, I would suspect they will be married to any remaining ones now, or will have to deeply discount to dump them to compete with $6.00 polymer ones. Now I need to find a side by side coupler similar to the CAA that will work for my AR in 308 magazines. I know there is a metal one that uses a metal threaded rod for clamping, used on AK mag's that might work.

I should also mention that I have a CZ 858 (as opposed to an AR15) so I think an AK magazine coupler should work. I have heard good things abouth the Redimag but I believe that is for AR15's only.

Anyone know about the things that join two of the ten round RRA mags base to base, rather than side to side as is usually done?
I saw that at a gun show recently, first time I had seen such a thing.
So, two of the RRA mags take up about the same room as a single 20 or 30, plugged or not.

How durable are they? Cost?

6 bucks for the plastic C products and about 40 for the Canadian made aluminum ones. My plastic ones haven't broken yet. That is all that I can say.

It is nice to use standard mag pouches as a coupled 10rd mag pair are about the same shape and size as a standard 30 rounder. Just watch the feed lips if you drop mags!

I use the ones built by Ralph in the U.S. They work better than any I have found and are cheap. ww w.arredondoaccessories.com

Mag couplers...

Another accessory tried and then gave up.

More hassle than their worth. Learn how to do a quick mag change

Black electrical tape works great with AR and AK 30 rounders... As long as you dont play in the dirt too much! You cant beat the price of that "system" either! But the coupled mags no longer fit in most pouches very well...

I use FAB couplers. Faster reloads, locks tight & sturdy.. they're ok.

These should work well but the all plastic ones break when u drop them on the ground - makes for an expensive 3 gun match.
Brownells sells all metal ones that I have dropped on concrete many times in indoor matches - no breakage.
