Anyone using CIL Primers?

I came into 2000 Large Rifle Magnum.. I am going to give them a try... They are from the seventies I imagine.

If stored properly they shouldn't present any problem. I still have some from the 70's.

I have used them. I had eight duds in probably 3500 that I used. I was using them for cast bullet loads

The couple of batches of LP I've worked through this year were a hair too wide and wouldn't seat right. Some I was able to reseat with the Hand Prime. Had to be deprime quite a few. Wouldn't go through the Dillon very well or at all.
A couple of years ago I had a few decks of LR and had to toss them because they were too wide.

I still have and use the C.I.L. 8½ and 8½M primers. If properly stored they will
work just fine. I actually prefer the 8½ in a load I developed for my 270. Dave.

I have about 3000 small and large rifle, plus some shotgun primers (2 piece?)
Been saving them, In case of a primer shortage.
