Anyone using Esstac mag pouches?

For anyone else using the Esstac KYWI AR mag pouches, have you noticed that they're REALLY tight? Like, yank your plate carrier halfway up your body tight?

Depends on the mags... I had to sell some metal LAR mags because the cutout for the mag release would bite into the KYWI like a cheese grater and hold tight.

If all else fails you can spray a little Armour All onto a cloth and wipe it on the inside of the KYWI to slick it up some.

That said, I love the Esstac KYWI mag pouches and won't use others!!!!!!

Hey that's not a bad idea! I've left my pmags in the pouches for about 2 weeks now to try and loosen them up, but lubricating them a. It may help

I've taken the inserts out, heated them up with a hair dryer, and opened them up a bit.

I have 2 esstac double AR mag pouches attached to my rig. Haven't had any problem like that. I use a rag at the bottom of the pouches that I use to hold my beowulf mags cause they're too short. But that's about it

If you find mags sticking or anywhere you don't want oil...3-in-one dry silicone lube is awesome! Armour all is very sticky and gums things up.
