for another $4 you can get the best mags on the market, MecGar. same as the ones the guns come with now. There really is no reason to consider those cheaper mags in the gun. If they were $15 each, maybe.
Where?![]()
the Corwin mags while functional are not up to the same standards as the MecGars. The finishing on them is subpar, this includes the machining of the feed lip area cutout and overall dimensions. CZ chose MecGar to make all their new gen mags for a reason. A good mag will last for years, why go cheap?
Ha-Haaaa, outstanding prices on an out of stock item...Have you had a look at corwin-arms?
Is that baseplate a thin metal one to jab into your hand when doing quick mag changes? It looks pokey.I own factory cz mags, mecgar mags, and the corwin arms "made in Italy" mags. The quality of the corwin mags is excellent, the manufacturing is definitely not sub par. They're pretty much indistinguishable from the factory mags, other than the floor plate.

If their too pokey, I could 3d print base pads for them.![]()
They are a little pokey, I suppose? Lol. I haven't had an issue with them, but that's not to say that there isn't the possibility for one.
Oooo, you wanna?? I have a few extra of the Corwin mags; wanna trade some mags for some base pads?? Everybody wins!![]()

Nice work and clean looking..
Nice work and clean looking..
I wonder how you remove the bit of material making a lip to slide over the base.. looks like a notch at the end but does not go deeper into the pad..I did not model that... It was a quick find on the internet...
I'll print on this afternoon and see how it goes.
