My best hunting buddy got stationed in Sask with the RCMP and my other one is one course with the army so if there is anyone out there that wants to put together a hog hunt I'm all about trying again in the near future.

I'm interested, especially if someone has a good location. Seems to be nothing but rumors of wild hogs. Do they really exist here?

According to the conservation site they are pretty much all over southern manitoba. I had a good area about a year ago IDK if its still good. I aslo have a trick I wanna trybut we'll see if I can make it happen. I need to check it out I guess.

I've been trying to locate hogs for some time now. The CO's in the Interlake we no help when I called them. The area east of Beausejour has been virtuall cleaned out according to a CO that I talked to last summer. They are turning into a scarce creature.....

count me in if they are really out there i've been looking around for a few years but found nothing but ghost stories

Must be in the northern interlake area. I am interested if they are running wild. I hope it will be an old time hunt with open sighted irons. makes it more interesting.

I have land in the north interlake area. There aren't any pigs running around there anymore. There used to be...about 6 or 8 years ago or more. It didn't take long once word got out about them for the population to be wiped out.

Well there is another problem too and that is that they are damn smart. there were quite a few of them a couple years ago just east of the city. IDK if they are still strong now though. Anyone shoot one in the last little while.

I do know that there are a ton in Alta and apparently a good population in Sask. Maybe the milder Alta winter is better for them IDK.

Put in a call to the Conservation office in Hadishville. And talk to Manny, at Manny's Live Bait (hwy 1 east) There are hogs in the Sandilands.
