I'd give my left nut and my first unborn child. We probably have a better chance of getting hit by lightning but hey.. a guy can dream.

Dig a little deeper and here's what you'll find:

MODEL: MGA M249 MC™ (multi-caliber capable)
This is a MGA MK46 MC but with an M16 magwell welded onto the receiver per the original M249 design.
Ships to your FFL 3 to 6 months from receipt of payment. SALE PRICE (ends Dec 31, 2013): $10,998 $________

May be why nobody's "pulling the trigger"

well, if hk 91s are prohib , i would think it likely they would be too......then hey what do in know !

It uses a HK trigger pack, but it won't take a FN Minimi trigger pack. Rails on the right side are thicker, so it won't except Minimi FA parts. In reality if you bought enough of them you could probably get a proprietary trigger pack built.

At one of the FB3G matches I shot there was a SAW as part of one of the stages...
Only 20 rounds, but... Fun as long as uncle Sam was paying the ammo bill..

THAT is probably why no one has "pulled the trigger". $10K for a five round belt fed, I hope no one is that stupid.

Shot a m249 at Vegas. Truly glorious in full auto. And amazingly accurate and controllable. Do I want one? Yes. Would I want one in semi auto at the 10G price tag? Not a chance. Not when there are belt feds for way less, with no limits, that shoot bigger louder rounds.

Look at all the people who bought M2...
You mean an M2 .50 cal? The kind that's been in existence since 1917 and thus is exempt from capacity laws, unlike this gun? Spending $10K on an M2 makes sense if you can afford to shoot it. Even if this "SAW" was HALF the price I wouldn't even consider it.

If I were so inclined I might ignore the pre-45 rule and link a few hundred rounds together, but I'm not that inclined. Pass.

Not when there are belt feds for way less, with no limits, that shoot bigger louder rounds.
Indeed. Way ahead of you. ;)
