hey guys, if you purchased a beretta PX4 storm in the last few months, you may need to contact the store you bought it at, there was a defect in the stainless steel top edition where the slide jams open. the distributor of beretta for western canada "Stoeger Canada" at 1-905-436-9077 is currently taking orders for replacements. this apparently only affected the stainless steel editions.
anyone who owns a beretta PX4 storm read this!!

This is not true. There are no recalls or any ongoing issues with the px4 Storm Inox. I called the importer you mentioned and checked with beretta. I consider this unreliable information.

For what its worth I had to send my blued (not stainless) one back for the same issue.... repair was an easy spring replacement of the slide stop that I could have done myself but opted to use warranty.... no probs now, super annoying when it happened.

This is true. I had to send mine back because the metal in the Inox slide of the Px4 Storm was defective. I also know another member who had the same issue. They took the guns back no problem and I was reimbursed. This is true but if yours doesn't have any problems, I don't see any problem with keeping it… But I am no expert. Mine was taken back about a year or so ago...
