Anyone with coyote knowledge

Hi I've been hunting coyote on a farm for a couple of years now.I keep finding fur balls, they look like cat fur balls. I've heard about bobcat I area, I'm just not to sure what is leaving these fur balls. Is there anyone who can give me any info?

Those are most likely owl pellets.

I thought about that, but they are long about 4-7''not balled up?

yeah, I think so too, when it gets really dried out all you see is the hair

When the rain washes away the poo all that is left is hair.

Seen old wolf and coyote scat that is basically whitetail deer, maybe rabbit fur.

yeah, I think so too, when it gets really dried out all you see is the hair

Maybe mouse hair too? I don't know, but another point is unlike dogs coyote droppings, scat does not have that typical "familiar" foul odor, so unless you realized that it was coyote scat, you might not guess coyote scat
