Anything going on in Manitoba soon?

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I would like to get out and try my hand at shooting some longer distances, learning from others and what not. Where I am my home range is only 200 yards and there is nowhere around that is suffecient to shoot any further. I would like to get out to a competition or "fun shoot" or something in Manitoba. I'm 5 hours from Winnipeg and 5 hours from Thunder Bay, On. There are a few other people at my home range that would be interested to go as well. I my self am shooting a .338LM, i'm not sure what the others are shooting though. Shooting the Lapua at 200yd is getting boring to say the least.

Maybe everything is done for the season I dont know but any info would be appreciated.

Check out the Manitoba Provincial Rifle Assoc website for competitions coming up next year. This year is pretty much over as we us the DND range, 300-1000yds, but the weekends are now booked for the military the evenings are running short on light. The other kicker is it is not templated for 338 Lapua, sorry. Other then that I know of no other range pushing past 300m here.
