Hi,

I'm going to be shooting 303 British. (Lee Enfield NO4 MK1)

Anything I should know about when I reload the brass? Or tips that you could share? I did a search and didn't see anything too obvious.

Thanks,

I'd suggest neck-sizing only, rather than full-length sizing. .303 chambers can be on the generous side so the less you work the brass the longer it will last. Steve Redgwell has a good article on his website.

Also, if you have more than one .303, keep the brass from each rifle separate as the chambers could vary quite a bit.

I have 4 Lee Enfields so it's a bit if a juggle to keep the brass separate, but an important step since neck sizing really is the way to go to get more life out of the brass. I would focus on using the best brass you can find, I have found Privi and Hornady work well, whereas S&B has challenges, must be soft brass, not sure but it doesn't hold up as well. Best powder for me so far is IMR 4064.
I have heard that Enfields shoot non boat tail bullets the best, but I personally haven't found much difference in my loads, ymmv.
