anywhere in ottawa to rent pistols

You may want to contact the RA center they offer something like that I recall.

But for the most part rentals arent popular at Canadian ranges.

FYI. Club de tir de Montreal rents pistols and rifles . It's 2 hrs away from you guys in Ottawa. It has a 25m indoor pistol range and a 50m indoor rifle range. Come and visit. D

I have a few threads scattered around here. Just passed my restricted last night, so this purchase will take 6 weeks or so. Already shoot long gun at the club.

Had my heart set on a CZ75B until I saw the SP-01, and that is what I am considering.

But I have smaller hands, and not having held many autos, I'd like to try them on for size. Shooting them is better, but at least I'll drop in to a good gun store and handle several at least for feel.

I may try the Montreal club too. I do have little time.

The Ruger P85 used for the course (in 9mm) seemed really bulky and clumsy to me. I wouldn't be happy with it. Just want to make sure I don't make a bad purchase.
